• I was in charge of all mental health matters at the Manukau District Court from 2014-2017.: including prosecutions through the Criminal Procedure (Mentally Impaired Persons) CP(MIP) Act 2003, Intellectual Disability (Compulsory Care and Rehabilitation) ID(CCR) Act 2003 and proceedings under the Mental Health (Compulsory Assessment and Treatment) MH(CAT) Act 1992. I have argued in cases using the insanity defence, as well as defences of diminished capacity.

• My time at the SFO has given me the experience to provide you with an effective defence in a highly technical environment. Prosecutions by the SFO and other specialised agencies such as the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) and Commerce Commission often involve antiquated, specialised legislation but advanced data driven analysis tools and tend to drown a lawyer in large amounts of information.
